Privacy Policy

dozzzo is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts and no advertising, and we never sell or share data with third parties. The only measurement is the anonymous usage events described below, which are off until you turn them on in Settings.
What we store
Nothing. Your household's profiles live on your device and are shared with your other apps through Apple's app-group storage — they never touch our servers.
That sharing includes a profile's photo, so the same person looks the same in each app. That copy passes between apps on your device and is never sent to us — like the rest of a profile, the photo itself syncs through your own private iCloud. You can switch it off for any profile while editing them; the profile then shows its symbol instead.
Anonymous usage measurement
If you switch it on, the app sends anonymous usage events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused service based in Germany operating under the GDPR, so we can learn which features matter and where setup goes wrong. It is off unless you turn it on in Settings, and you can turn it back off at any time.
No names, no location, no IP address, and no identifier that follows you between apps. Nothing that describes your household: not a profile's name, photo or age, not which apps or websites you limit, and not the times you set. Counts and durations are sent only as broad ranges, never exact values.
What we process transiently
Like any web service, our servers see the IP address of incoming requests. We use it in memory for rate limiting and abuse prevention only; it is not stored and not used to identify you. Our servers run on Fly.io in the European Union (Paris), which relays those connections as our hosting provider.
A link that switches profiles carries a short profile identifier in the link itself. Our server uses it only to hand you over to the app and does not store it.
Data handled by Apple
Where the app offers iCloud sync, that data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy and lives in your Apple account, not on our servers.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
